UPPER EAST FORK KAWEAH RIVER LOG, Atwell Mill Trail to Oak Grove Bridge
This is one of the remaining unrun sections of Sierra whitewater in California.
The only question is, how long before it is run? Is the Unrun mearly the Undone?
Section 1, Upper East Fork: Lookout Point Trail to Oak Grove Bridge
Elevation at the Put-in: 3360 ft. Elevation at the Take-out: 2500 ft.
Length of run: 3.2 miles
Average Gradient: 268 ft/mile
Overall Rating: Very Hard
Hazards: If you are up to this section you know the hazards
First Descent: The first 1.5 miles of this section of river from Lookout Point Trail to Squirrel Creek was run in the spring
of 2002 by Bo Wallace, Josh Bruckner, Riley Cathcart, and Jess Brown. The rest has been run all the way to Oak Grove Bridge.

Section 2, Upper-Upper Eastfork: Atwell Mill Trail to Lookout Point Trail
Elevation at the Put-in: 5920 ft. Elevation at the Take-out: 3360 ft.
Length of run: 7.3 miles
Average Gradient: 351 ft/mile
Overall rating: Very Hard and unseen
Hazards: See Section 1 above. This might be too much for a one day trip.
